  • Be a permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen when you apply and when your application is decided
  • You must have been a resident within Australia for 4 years and a permanent resident for 12 months
  • You must not have spent more than 12 months in total in the past 4 years outside of Australia and no more than 90 days in total in the past 12 months
